PREGNANCY CENTER IN HAPEVILLE

Our parish’s Saints’ Corner Ministry made a big presentation to the parish on October 14, 2012. Over the past few months the members of this ministry have been involved in The Purple Project: they have been making items to donate to help in the awareness and prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome, Hand made items, made in the color purple, is a way of helping to speak out against this often tragic behavior against crying babies. These items will be donated to the Advise and Pregnancy Center in Hapeville.

Also the ministry is spearheading our parish’s involvement in the Advise and Pregnancy Center’s mission of assisting women during their time of pregnancy and child birth. For more information about the center visit:

Our Saints Corner Ministry created items during Lent 2008 to donate to ChildKind - a non-profit service which helps children suffering from serious illness and have no home, or children who are abandoned or orphaned because of parental illness or death. Below are some of the hand made items that this ministry donated to ChildKind during April 2008.
