Black Catholic Congress
We, The National Black
Catholic Congress, comprised of member organizations, represent African
American Roman Catholics, working in collaboration with National Roman
Catholic organizations. We commit ourselves to establishing an agenda
for the evangelization of African Americans; and to improve the
spiritual, mental, and physical conditions of African Americans, thereby
committing ourselves to the freedom and growth of African Americans as
full participants in church and society. |

The National Black Catholic Clergy Caucus serves as a fraternity
for Black Catholic Clergy and Religious to support the spiritual,
theological, educational, and ministerial growth of its members.
The NBCCC is a vehicle to
bring the contributions of the Black Community to fruition within the
Catholic Church. |

KIVA is a non-profit organization
with a mission to connect people through lending to alleviate poverty.
Leveraging the internet and a worldwide network of microfinance
institutions, Kiva lets individuals
lend as little as $25 to help create opportunity around the world.
I love this organization
because you can team up with others to help fund various projects that
help people around the world. I happen to participate with the
"Catholic" group under the KIVA organizations. |

SQPN (Star Quest Production Network) is a multimedia organization
specializing in the production of audio and video programs faithful to
the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. Its mission is to respond to
the Church’s call to use the media for religious information, for
evangelization and catechesis and for formation and education. |

A Word Publication
"In A Word" is a monthly publication that
focuses mainly on the African American Catholic experience. It is
produced by Fr. James Pawlicki SVD, a priest of the Society of the
Divine Word Missionaries. Back publications are available on line. |

Vatican Radio is the broadcasting station of the
Holy See, legally recognized by the international bodies. It is a means
of communication and evangelization created to serve the Pope's
ministry. Vatican Radio has a legal status and is located in Vatican
City. Its main task is to proclaim the Christian message, freely,
faithfully and efficiently, and keep the centre of Catholicism in
contact with the rest of the world. |
